What is happening?

To ensure the capacity to receive, restock, and ship your products to customers, we have delays in removal operations in some of our fulfillment centers.

You can continue to create removal orders, but there will be delays in completing the requests. Similarly, auto-removals will be delayed.

As a result, we are waiving the May 15 long-term storage fees for inventory stored in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates.

Does this apply to all product categories?

Yes.

Will I be charged removal fees for removal orders that have been delayed?

We only charge removal fees when the removal order is completed.

Will I be charged long-term storage fees for inventory that I’ve asked to be removed?

No.

Is my inventory available for sale if I’ve put in a removal order?

Yes. The listing will stay active on the Amazon webpage until we start to process your removal order.

Is Amazon taking similar steps for retail products?

Yes.

Will any removal order get canceled?

A small number of removal orders may get canceled. In this case, removal fees are not charged. You can review the status of your removal order in the Removal Order Detail report in Fulfillment reports, under the Removals section.

Do storage fees (including monthly storage and long-term storage fees) continue to accrue if Amazon cancels my removal order?

Yes. If the removal order is canceled, the units re-enter your inventory.
